Mount and Balance
Wheel balancing refers to an adjustment of any weight imbalances in a wheel. Mounting is simply the mechanic attaching the wheel to the vehicles axles. To give a smoother ride and eliminate any shakes or bumps in your travels. Out-of-balance wheels cause a shaky and increase the wear and tear on your tires, struts and shocks, leading to unnecessary more expensive repairs.
Wheel and Tire Balance
A standard tire balance addresses up-and-down imbalances and is recommended every 15,000 miles. Your local Virginia Tire & Auto will use a special tire balancing machine that spins the tire at high speeds to determine where there are imbalances.

Mounting
Simple yet commonly overlocked. Mounting the wheel is simply attaching the wheel back to your car. From stripping your lugs or carelessly scratching your wheels not paying attention to the simple things can cause you more issues. You want to make sure your next car experience is a good one not just another problem. Thats why we pay keen attention to the little details because they matter.
Clip-on
Clip-on wheel weights, an industry standard, are fastest to use in the balancing process. The design concept hasn’t changed much since the 1930s when they first became popular. Knocking them into the right place on the wheel’s rim flange is a fast process
Adhesive
also referred to as “stick-on” or “tape-on” weights these are the best option for wheels without a flange. A good choice for customers who want their wheels to have a certain aesthetics, as weights can be placed behind spokes or integrated into elements of the wheel design.
Beads
Unlike traditional static weights that require re-balancing, tire balancing beads continuously self-adjust, giving you a smoother ride for the life of the tire. Beads are extremely versatile for all types of applications. They are used for many types of tires, for trucks, motorcycles, RVs. and even trailers.
